1. Project Overview
The supplier shall provide a complete set of dairy processing line equipment for use in Yemen. All equipment must comply with the specified technical parameters, packaging, inspection, warranty, and documentation requirements.

Note: All equipment connections must be standardized to DN32 tri-clamp (or equivalent).
3. Packaging Requirements
- Each piece of equipment must be packed in a separate carton;
- Outer cartons must be clearly marked with the FAO logo.
4. Inspection and Acceptance Procedure
- Pre-delivery: Supplier must submit samples for FAO inspection and written approval before purchase order issuance;
- At shipment: Inspection by an independent third-party agency prior to loading;
- Upon arrival: Final inspection by project technical staff at the destination warehouse in Yemen;
- Rejection clause: Any non-conforming goods will be rejected unconditionally.
5. Warranty Requirements
- 12-month comprehensive warranty from date of delivery;
- Covers material defects, workmanship issues, and damage occurring during transit to final destination;
- Applies under normal operating conditions and reasonable wear.
6. Mandatory Documents to Submit with Bid
- Operation manuals: One per equipment unit (in English or Arabic, printed or on CD), cost included in bid price;
- Proof of compliance with relevant international standards;
- Material certificate confirming AISI 316 stainless steel composition;
- Manufacturer certifications:
- ISO 9001:2000 / EN ISO 9001 (certified by recognized bodies such as RWTÜV);
- GMP certification;
- CE marking;
- Permanent ID nameplate on each equipment unit;
- Color product catalog with clear technical specifications of offered equipment;
- Past performance: Two recent contracts (within last 2 years) for similar dairy equipment supply, including country, client name, and scope of delivery;
- Signed 12-month warranty commitment letter.
7. Supplier Compliance Declaration
- The supplier confirms that all supplied goods comply with Yemeni national laws and the technical specifications herein;
- In case of non-compliance, the purchaser reserves the right to reject all goods;
- All associated costs and liabilities shall be borne solely by the supplier; the purchaser assumes no responsibility.
